Advertising Policy

The Journal of Cost Management (J. Cost Manag.) is committed to maintaining the academic integrity, independence, and credibility of its scholarly publishing activities. Any advertising or promotional content associated with the journal must be managed in a manner that does not compromise editorial independence or influence the content, peer-review process, or publication decisions.

1. Separation of Advertising and Editorial Content

Advertising and promotional materials, where accepted, will remain clearly separate from editorial and scholarly content. Advertisers will have no influence over the selection, evaluation, peer review, acceptance, rejection, or publication of manuscripts.

2. Acceptance of Advertisements

The journal reserves the right to determine whether an advertisement is appropriate for publication or display. Advertisements must be relevant to the academic, research, professional, or scholarly interests of the journal's readership and must comply with applicable laws and ethical standards.

The journal may reject or remove advertisements that are misleading, inappropriate, discriminatory, offensive, unlawful, or inconsistent with its academic mission and publication policies.

3. Editorial Independence

Advertising revenue, sponsorship, or other promotional arrangements will not influence editorial decisions. Manuscripts will be evaluated solely on their academic quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, and compliance with the journal's editorial and ethical standards.

4. No Endorsement

The publication or display of an advertisement does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee by the Journal of Cost Management, its editors, reviewers, or publisher of the advertised product, service, organization, or claim.

5. Transparency

Where advertising is displayed on the journal website or in connection with journal content, it will be distinguishable from editorial content. The journal aims to maintain transparency regarding commercial or promotional material associated with its publishing activities.

6. Prohibited Advertising

The journal will not knowingly accept advertisements that:

  • Contain false, misleading, or deceptive claims
  • Promote unlawful activities or products
  • Conflict with applicable laws or regulations
  • Contain discriminatory, defamatory, or offensive material
  • Undermine academic or research integrity
  • Attempt to influence editorial or peer-review decisions

7. Review and Removal of Advertisements

The journal reserves the right to review advertisements periodically and to modify, suspend, or remove any advertisement that no longer complies with this policy or the journal's standards.
