Abstract
The performance and control costs in focused factories are measured using cycle time (CT). The focused factories that contain production cells segregate and separately monitor unique processes and services. In conjunction with cost variance analysis, cycle time metrics can be used to discover cycle-time efficiencies and non-value-added cost.
