Abstract
The article discusses the concept of balanced scorecard (BSC) which companies are increasingly using to link strategy and drive business results. BSC has proven to be a powerful tool in translating strategy into action in the for-profit sector. Now it is also being employed by mission driven organizations in the not-for-profit sector. The application of the strategic management tool in the health-care sector is discussed.
